Varicose Vein Treatment
Varicose veins are abnormal bulging veins below the skin surface that are unsightly and often painful. They frequently cause swelling and discomfort in the legs, especially during periods of prolonged standing. If left untreated, varicose veins can lead to permanent skin changes and sometimes ulceration. Our InvisiVein™ procedure is a laser treatment alternative to traditional surgical stripping, and is covered by most insurance plans.
The InvisiVein Laser works by delivering a highly concentrated beam of light energy to the targeted (vein) tissue with extreme precision so as not to affect the surrounding tissue. This closes the cause of varicose veins and allows blood flow to be redirected to healthy veins. Laser treatments have proven their safety and effectiveness through years of use and have far less risk and complications than the more invasive surgical vein stripping procedure. Patients resume activity immediately and see results quickly.
Our consultants can advise you if this simple, non-invasive treatment is right for you.

How is
a laser procedure different from surgery?
Surgery involves
considerable preparation,
general anesthesia, large
incisions, higher risk
of infection, greater
pain in the affected
areas, and a lengthy
recovery period. The
medical laser technology
used in our InvisiVein
procedure eliminates all of that. It’s "minimally
invasive." The entry point through which your
physician gets the laser fiber to the target area
is extremely small, not even requiring a stitch.
There is really no recovery to speak of. In fact,
you’ll be up and
walking as soon as it’s over, able to return
to full normal activity.
What Can I Expect With the Procedure?
Local anesthesia is used.
Valium is generally used as
a sedative or relaxant. After
treatment, you can quickly
return to normal activities.
How Soon Will I See Results?
You will see immediate
results and improvement in
the appearance and symptoms
of the treated area following
your laser vein treatment.
What Are The Side Effects?
The most common side effect
is bruising around the treated
area. This will resolve within
2-3 weeks of the treatment.
Will Insurance Cover This Procedure?
Varicose veins are a medical
condition. Varicose Vein treatments
are covered by most insurance
plans. If you have any questions,
it is best to talk with your
provider.
