Exercise to Help Prevent Varicose Veins

Exercise has a myriad of health benefits.  Most people are unaware that regular exercise can reduce your chance of developing varicose veins and if you have varicose veins, help to alleviate their symptoms. At Invisivein we encourage conservative treatment including regular exercise, leg elevation, and compression stocking use. Increasing circulation, toning muscles, and weight loss help to prevent vascular issues.

The top two reasons people develop varicose veins are hereditary and weight gain. Since you can’t do much about the first reason, why not focus on the one you can control. Thirty minutes of daily activity (even three 10-minute sessions) can go a long way to improving your cardiovascular health. Rest assured that when conservative measures alone are not enough, we can provide minimally invasive treatment to help get you on the right track!

Consultation:

When exercise isn’t enough, Invisivein’s Vein specialists are here to help. A consultation and ultrasound are all that is needed to develop a personalized treatment plan. Symptoms including aching, pain, swelling, itching, burning tiredness and fatigue can be relieved through out patient minimally invasive therapies with minimal down time and scarring.

Invisvein’s board certified vascular and interventional radiologists have been providing these treatments to thousands of area patients since 2001.  Most procedures are covered by insurance, however when they are not, patients tell us our prices are the best!
